Thank you for your interest in our “Village Outreach” ministry. Jesus’ instruction is clear; He tells us to go into all the world and preach the gospel to everyone. Unfortunately it seems that the poorer rural areas are usually neglected. We have found these people to be very open and hungry for the gospel. Thailand as a whole is less than 1% Christian and the Isaan region is the least evangelized part of Thailand. The Isaan province is the 2nd largest region with over 20,500,000 people. There are over 2,100 rural villages.

Who is Jesus Christ to them?

  • .01% Believe Jesus is the Son of God.
  • ? % Believe Jesus is a prophet, Teacher, a Good Man, but not God's Son.
  • 75 % Believe Jesus is myth. (founder of the foreigner's Christian religion)
  • 24 % Have never heard His name.

We are so thankful that the Lord has called us to fulltime ministry in the Isaan region. The opportunities are amazing. We know that unless we specifically purpose to take these precious people the gospel, most of them will never hear it.

“Whoever calls on the name of the LORD shall be saved. How then shall they call on Him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in Him of whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher? And how shall they preach unless they are sent?” (Romans 10:13-15) NKJV

We do our best to reach the lost of these villages and take the gospel where it has never gone before; however, we realize it would take nearly 6 years to visit each village for just one day. We feel that is not right to just visit and evangelize without “follow-up”; Jesus did not call us to make converts, he called us to make disciples.

“Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you.”  (Matthew 28:19-20) NKJV

We intend to train, equip and help our students to reach the lost in these villages.  We are ministering in the villages as much as possible at this time and we are seeing the Lord do wonderful things in the lives of these precious people.

“The harvest truly is great, but the laborers are few; therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest.” (Luke 10:2) NKJV
